Kelli Little, Director of Government Affairs

Associated General Contractors of Wyoming is pleased to announce Kelli Little has been selected as the new Director of Government Affairs where she will oversee the Association’s state legislative policy, facilitate member lobbying efforts, and track regulatory issues in Wyoming and Washington D.C. She will begin her tenure on July 10.

Before joining the team at AGC of Wyoming, Kelli most recently served as the Executive Director of the Wyoming Association of Conservation Districts where she provided executive leadership for Wyoming’s 34 conservation districts through education, advocacy, and outreach. She also previously served as the Deputy Director of the Wyoming County Commissioners Association.

A Wyoming native, Kelli has a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism with an emphasis in public relations from the University of Wyoming. She is a 2021 graduate of Leadership Wyoming and a graduate of the National Association of Counties High-Performance Leadership Academy.

Kelli enjoys many of Wyoming’s outdoor activities including camping, fishing, and playing golf, as well as traveling, entertaining, and watching football with her husband, Kevin. She has two daughters, Maci and Avery, that keep her personal time busy with activities including dance, swimming and school band.

Dan Benford, Executive Director

Dan Benford grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and is the son of lifelong Career and Technical Education advocates both in the classroom and administration. Dan comes to us with a strong background in education. Before joining AGC of Wyoming, he taught high school mathematics in schools in Arizona as well as Wyoming. He has also coached soccer in both states at many levels, leading Laramie High School to the 2016 Wyoming State Title. Dan loves all things outdoors and spending time with his family.

Dan joined the team in September of 2021 and begins full time in January working in Workforce Development. He will continue his passion for education and working toward the success of Wyoming’s youth here at the AGC. He looks forward to helping our business and industry meet their workforce needs in new and creative ways.
