Katie Legerski, Executive Director

Katie Legerski grew up in Lander, Wyoming and attended the University of Wyoming where she obtained a BS in Applied Mathematics.  She is a Leadership Cheyenne and Leadership Wyoming graduate. She has over 30 years of experience managing local, state, and federal issue and has worked for Congresswoman Barbara Cubin and Senators John Barrasso, Craig Thomas, and Malcolm Wallop.

Since 1932, the Associated General Contractors of Wyoming has been the most widely respected construction trade association in Wyoming and as Executive Director, Legerski has grown that reputation by helping expand the association’s presence and strengthen its voice. Executive Director Legerski has been particularly active in workforce development by promoting state career training education initiatives as well as being a member of the Wyoming Workforce Development Council.

 

 

 

 

Dan Benford, Workforce Development

Dan Benford grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and is the son of lifelong Career and Technical Education advocates both in the classroom and administration. Dan comes to us with a strong background in education. Before joining AGC of Wyoming, he taught high school mathematics in schools in Arizona as well as Wyoming. He has also coached soccer in both states at many levels, leading Laramie High School to the 2016 Wyoming State Title. Dan loves all things outdoors and spending time with his family.
 
Dan joined the team in September of 2021 and begins full time in January working in Workforce Development. He will continue his passion for education and working toward the success of Wyoming’s youth here at the AGC. He looks forward to helping our business and industry meet their workforce needs in new and creative ways.

 

 

 

 

Shalom Brickey, Member Services

Shalom Brickey grew up in Casper, Wyoming and was highly involved in political discourse and forensics. Shalom comes to us with a strong background in event management and customer relations. Before joining AGC of Wyoming, she worked in the hospitality industry and with the Workforce Development Council in event planning and administration. In her spare time, Shalom enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family.

Shalom joined the team in October of 2021 and looks forward to applying her skills in Member Services to AGC of Wyoming.
