Katie Legerski, Executive Director
Legerski grew up in Lander, Wyoming and attended the University of Wyoming where she obtained a BS in Applied Mathematics. She is a Leadership Cheyenne and Leadership Wyoming graduate. She has over 30 years of experience managing local state and federal issue and has worked for Congresswoman Barbara Cubin and Senators John Barrasso, Craig Thomas, and Malcolm Wallop.
Since 1932, the Associated General Contractors of Wyoming has been the most widely respected construction trade association in Wyoming and as Executive Director Katie has grown that reputation by helping expand the association’s presence and strengthen its voice. Legerski has been particularly active in workforce development by lobbying for state career training education initiatives as well as being a member of the Wyoming Workforce Development Council.
Rebecca Sanchez, Member Services
Rebecca Sanchez grew up on a small farm in Burns, Wyoming and was highly involved in 4-H and FFA. She attended Laramie County Community College and continued on to the University of Wyoming where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science.
Rebecca comes to us with a strong background in event management and customer relations. Before AGC of Wyoming, she worked in the agriculture industry and workforce services in event planning and execution. In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys playing and coaching volleyball in Cheyenne.
Rebecca joined the team in January of 2020 and looks forward to applying her skills in Member Services to AGC of Wyoming.
